Evaluation Process
The BestPrax Benchmark evaluation process is as follows:
1. Application Form (20 points)
The purpose of this document is to provide enough background about the organization in order to orient the examiner. It also provides a base level introduction to the Leadership Governance Practices.
2. Web Driven Assessment
(50 points)
The purpose of the web driven assessments is to profile the individual and collective perceptions of a representative sample of leaders and managers in regard to the organization's Leadership Governance Practices. The web driven assessments are powered by BestPrax Barometer.
Option: Since the BP Barometer can be calibrated to the Malcolm Baldrige criteria, as well as the European Quality Award criteria, the web-driven assessment can be optional for organizations that have already applied for a similar quality award. If this option is exercised, the applicant organization will be required to submit a copy of their original application document.
3. Online Verification
(20 points)
The purpose of this step is to clarify and / or verify issues identified by the examiners. For the convenience of the applicants, this will be conducted through a 2-hour video conference. The issues will be communicated to the applicant in advance.
4. Site Visit
(10 points)
The purpose of this 1-day review is to randomly meet relevant managers to establish the sustainability & transparency of Leadership Governance Practices. A site visit will be essential for organizations short-listed for the BestPrax Benchmark Award.
