Wherever it is difficult to differentiate between, category and industry, just mention the category. |

The abstract needs to mention the process or function that is being improved such as complaint resolution, maintenance, production, purchasing, etc. |
The mission of the project needs to be highlighted specifically, such as reducing instances of breakdown or reducing downtime per breakdown. Also improving the utilization of installed capacity or educing patient wait time could be the mission statements. |

It is important to mention the methodology in the abstract. Whether a structured method of identifying the problem, quantifying the problem, root cause analysis and identifying effective solutions is evident in the project report needs to be mentioned. Many projects will just be about implementing known solutions. Such projects need to be filtered out. |
The abstract needs to conclude with the tangible and intangible (if mentioned) gains realized through the project. |
