Dr Jagadish Chandra Barik
Director - Process Excellence, Xchanging Technology
Dr Jagadish Chandra Barik has nearly twenty years of experience in projects, manufacturing, Service Industries, customer service, quality assurance and Lean six sigma. He is working with Xchanging Technology as Director-Process Xcellence leading Lean Six Sigma, Kaizen, Visual Management, BPMS, BSC, 5S & ISO-9001:2000 initiatives. Xchanging is a U.K. based BPO & IT company providing services to financial market, Insurance, procurement and HR services. He worked as Sr.Consultant and Master Black Belt at AIT (Advanced Integrated Technology) group,U.S.A giving consultancy services in Lean ,Six Sigma, Supply Chain Management through SCOR and Innovation. The AIT Group is a MNC having head office at Arizona,U.S.A and regional offices at Luxembourg, Shanghai, Maxicali & Delhi. While at the AIT Group ,Jagadish has deployed Lean Six Sigma, BPMS & 5-S initiatives at SKF, PPL , Hankel corporation and various other organisations. He has presented papers at various seminars and conferences organised by IOD,CII, NCCI on Lean Six Sigma.
Prior to that, he worked as General Manager/ Six Sigma Master Black Belt at Reliance Industries Ltd,Hazira. He successfully delivered six sigma deployment, training and project coaching at many levels. He has worked & Coached various projects covering improving efficiency, yield improvement, quality improvement, equipment reliability, machine up-time, inventory reduction, effluent load reduction, HR, finance, and reduction in variable cost. As a facilitator of Quality Circle, he has won awards at the state, national and international level. He was awarded as best trainer for conducting six sigma training programs at various levels in year 2003 & 2004. Two Six Sigma projects were awarded by QualTech at National level and two projects were awarded with Silver and Gold medal at ASQ Team excellence at international level. Prior to that he was involved in erection, commissioning and manufacturing of Polyester Staple Fibre projects (DuPont, Neumag, Zimmer technology) at Patalganga and Hazira sites.
Prior to Reliance, Jagadish has worked at Orissa Synthetics Ltd, Indian Acrylics Ltd and Consolidated Fibres and Chemicals Ltd. in Manufacturing, Projects, Quality Assurance and Customer Technical Services functions.
Selected Accomplishments:
As a Black Belt, Jagadish completed 6 projects with savings around 10.5 crores ($105 million) to the company. This included projects on yield improvement, quality improvement, machine availability and reduction in variable cost. The yield improvement project was awarded as one of the best six sigma projects in year 2001 in complex level.
As Six Sigma MBB, Jagadish guided & coached more than 500 projects both in Manufacturing & Service Sector
Trained more than 300 Green Belts, 100 Black Belts, and 3000 people in general awareness on six sigma.

Dr Geeta Bharadwaj
Executive Director - Quality Cell, Indian Merchants Chamber
Dr Geeta Bharadwaj, Executive Director, Indian Merchants’ Chamber Quality Cell is a Senior Economist and avid researcher. She has played a guiding role in several research projects and is also an Administrator of IMC Ramkrishna Bajaj National Quality Award along the lines of the US Malcolm Baldrige Award and the IMC Juran Quality Medal. She is also Senior Secretary of Indian Merchants’ Chamber and has been with IMC for the past 20 years.
Internationally recognized as the only Indian woman as 'Woman Quality Professional Leader’ Winner of MIFLORA MINOZA GATCHALIAN MEDAL (MMG Medal) 2006 conferred by International Asia Pacific Quality Organization for being a woman quality professional who has distinguished herself as a person with known integrity and is recognized for her outstanding contributions to the promotion of quality innovation and practice in the Asia Pacific Region.
Leader of Delegation to ASQ at US and AOTS, Japan. Part of the Organizing Team for the IMC India Calling Conference at Singapore (2004), Dubai (2005) and London (2006).

Mr Anirudha Chakravarty
Senior Manager - Continuous Improvement and Best Business Practices (CIBBP), Johnson Controls (India) Private Limited
Mr Anirudha Chakravarty is Sr. Manager – Continuous Improvement and Best Business Practices (CIBBP) at Johnson Controls (India) Pvt. Ltd., a Fortune 300 MNC that deals in HVAC, Industrial Refrigeration, Building Management, Security, Fire Alarm and Access Control Systems. His primary role is to drive excellence in all processes that impact customer satisfaction, operational costs and internal efficiencies, providing value to the bottom-line at the same time.
He has previously served with Qimpro Consultants as a Principal Consultant for three years. He is a Six Sigma Black Belt and has offered training and facilitation services to companies in the metallurgical, engineering, power generation and service sectors. Mr Chakravarty was a key faculty member for Six Sigma Black Belt, Six Sigma Green Belt and Acccredited Quality Auditor (AQA) for IQMM courses conducted by Qimpro.
During his tenure with Qimpro, Mr Chakravarty trained over 30 Black Belts and 200 Green Belts and facilitated over 60 teams from various organizations to complete Six Sigma process improvement projects in manufacturing, service and transactional processes. He trained over 25 AQA’s for IQMM. He conducted several assessments for Qimpro Benchmark and COPQ.
Mr Chakravarty commenced his career with CMS Computers as a Customer Service Engineer and was responsible for preventive and breakdown maintenance of PC and network systems. Subsequently, he joined Johnson Controls, a then fortune 500 company specializing in building automation systems. Thereafter, as a part of a corporate global initiative, Mr Chakravarty was nominated from India for the Certified Six Sigma Black Belt course conducted by Six Sigma Academy in Malaysia. He then moved on to MIRC Electronics Limited, where he played a key role in launching and guiding the Six Sigma initiative.
Mr Chakravarty was a member of the Asia-Pacific Six Sigma deployment team and a founder member of the Centre of Engineering Excellence set up by Johnson Controls.

Mr Ashish Rao
Quality Manager, ICICI Prudential Life Insurance Company Limited
Ashish Rao has over 12 years of work experience, mainly in the financial services industry. He has worked closely with QIMPRO during their association with a couple of his employers.
He was a part of the core team that setup and introduced Six Sigma practices in ICICI Prudential. During this stint, he also completed his training as a Six Sigma Black Belt and worked on a number of projects, Black belt as well as Green Belt.
He has been a certified examiner for the IMC’s Ramakrishna Bajaj National Quality Award. In this role, he worked with teams to assess applicant companies on the RBNQA framework. He has leveraged the learnings from such assignments to augment the efforts of his organization on overall Quality Improvement
