Qimpro convention 2010
key dates
The build-up to the convention is an eight-month long intense process, which is outlined below:
Projects are received under Manufacturing and Service categories for each competition
Each project is assessed by five examiners who are subject matter experts
Examiners shortlist projects for final presentation to a distinguished panel of judges at Qimpro Convention
-   20 Improvement projects for QualTech Prize (10 manufacturing and 10 service)
-   10 Innovation projects BestPrax Prize (5 manufacturing and 5 service)
Winners are declared under each category
-   QualTech Prize for Improvement (2 manufacturing and 2 service)
-   BestPrax Prize for Innovation (1 manufacturing and 1 service)
Winning teams are felicitated with trophies at a Prize Distribution Ceremony at the end of the day-2
Members of all participating teams are given certificates
-   Certification of Participation to the non-finalists
-   Certification of Merit to the finalists
NOTE: We take care to ensure that Examiners assessing projects are not competitors. We also provide a separate section for confidential information (if any) in the project report template. This information is shared only with the 5 examiner to whom the project is assigned.
