Sona Koyo Steering Systems Limited (SKSSL) is a technical and financial joint venture company of Koyo Seiko Company, Japan, the global technology leader in Steering Systems manufacturing. With the acquisition of ThyssenKrupp Prazisionsschmiede GmBH for € 85 million it has become a Rs. 3,000 Crore group and is poised to become a billion dollar company by 2010.
With a Market share of 60%, the company is the largest manufacturer of steering systems in India, which includes the following:

Sona is surging ahead in its journey of Total Quality Management (TQM). It is also developing its core competence and aligning its objectives at all levels so as to realize synergy in operations.
