16 organizations competed in the pilot phase of the BestPrax Benchmark Competition for Leadership Governance.

Presentations at the BestPrax Conclave & GBN Benchmarking Roadshow.
All 16 organizations presented three Best Practices to GBN Directors Dr Robin Mann (Chairman) and Bruce Searles at BestPrax Conclave 2010. The event was held in Mumbai on 28 & 29 April 2010.
Based on the presentations made, 7 organizations were shortlisted to present one Best Practice at the 2nd GBN Benchmarking Roadshow on 16 & 17 June 2010 in Mumbai.
Dr Robert Camp, Founder of the Global Benchmarking Network (GBN) was the Chief Facilitator. Sharing the stage with Dr Camp were Dr Robin Mann (GBN Member - New Zealand), Bruce Searles (GBN Member - Australia), Dr Holger Kohl (GBN Member - Germany), Suresh Lulla (GBN Member - India), and Navin Kapoor from Dubai. Mohammad AlShair (GBN Member - Saudi Arabia) was also present.
Winners were declared as follows:

BestPrax Benchmark (2) for the highest overall score achieved through the 4 stage competition process.
Winners: Tata Power and Eureka Forbes

BestPrax Benchmark (1) for Excellence in Deployment of Benchmarking. The basis for the award is information gathered in the 4 stage competition process.
Winner: Birla White
3.
BestPrax Compass (4) for outstanding score achieved through the 4 stage competition process.
Winners: Aditya Birla Chemicals, Castrol, Hindustan Zinc, YES Bank
In addition, there was a StarPrax Award for the ONE practice that best fulfilled the following requirements: Choice of Practice; Best Practice Evidence; Innovation; and Results.
The selection was based exclusively on the organizations presentation at the GBN Benchmarking Roadshow. All 7 organizations competed for the StarPrax Award.
